Situated on the banks of the beautiful River Swale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is The Bridge Inn. A former Coaching Inn dating back to the 13th century, it sits in the picturesque village of Grinton opposite the Church of St Andrew. Known as the 'Cathedral of the Dale' the church itself dates back to the 12th century.

The Bridge Inn is fast becoming known for 'great' food and ales. Meals are served in the bar or games room but the Inn also boasts a fine à la carte restaurant with dishes prepared by experienced resident chef, John Scott. He takes inspiration for his menu from carefully selected, seasonal local produce including Game, Meat, Fish and of course, Vegetables.

Visitors are invited to sample the delicious CAMRA award winning cask ales of the Jennings brewery, or maybe try something a little different from a micro brewery. There is also a fine extensive cellar of handpicked wines selected personally by the Licensee, Mr Andrew Atkin.

Along with these attractions The Bridge offers 'Three Diamond' rated en suite accommodation and. welcomes families and pets.

The Inn has been restored over the past couple of years, retaining its traditional atmosphere and character. With open fires, beamed ceilings and friendly, helpful staff visitors can be sure of hospitality all day, throughout the year.
